This year Treviso turns into a fairytale city under the lights of Christmas. On Christmas holidays the historic center will host markets, exhibitions, tastings, workshops, concerts and entertainment shows until 7 January 2019.

Festively decorated, the city reserves many surprises among the squares, arcades, canals and churches. Those who visit the city during these days of celebration can access the various events that animate the city. Here are some:

  • At the Diocesan Museum it is possible to visit the “Nativity scenes from the World” exhibition from 3 December 2018 to 6 January 2019. Over 200 nativity scenes from many countries are on display.
  • La Loggia dei Cavalieri, transformed into a forest, comes to life amid lights, colors and flavors thanks to the “La Loggia Incantata” initiative. There are numerous appointments that can be visited by downloading the  brochure.
  • The Living Nativity Scene, in Treviso will be held the traditional with the start of the parade from Via Tezzone at 15.00 and arrival in Piazza dei Signori on December 24th.
  • Vertical Dance Show, on December 15th at 5 pm in Piazza dei Signori, the 150th anniversary of Rossini’s death is celebrated. The Compagnia Il Posto Danza Verticale will perform a performance of Vertical Dance on the symphony of Rossini’s opera “La Gazza Ladra”.
