A new and fascinating exposition on Japanese culture returns to Treviso: “Japan. Land of geisha and samurai”. The exhibition explores the traditional customs and activities of the Japanese people, creating focus on the peculiarities and history of the collection. The works can be dated between the 14th and 20th centuries. The artworks come from the private collection of the Treviso-based collector Valter Guarnieri.

The exhibition is dedicated to the figure of the Geisha and the Samurai. Great importance is also given to the relationship between the Japanese and nature.

The exhibition is open to the public from 4 April to 30 June 2019 at Casa dei Carraresi.
